About Vanessa Perea
Vanessa embodies the tradition of the masters, with a beautiful sound, sweeping range, and heavy swing feel. With her excitement for music propelling her into the “scene,” she began performing with numerous bands and jazz greats including George Cables, Dwayne Burno, Pasquale Grasso, Adam Birnbaum, Joe Magnarelli, Emmet Cohen, Alex Smith (accompanist to Lady Gaga) and she was a member of the vocal duo group The Ladybugs.
